“Deep rooting the Environment and Culture”
Written by Dr. Anu Ravindra Yadav So far we I have seen students celebrating days with pomp and splendour, The talents oozed out in every term! A thought of connecting to the nature compelled us to ‘GO GREEN’ embarking the importance the colour holds to US and to the Environment.,the hues of everyone wearing green was really eye catching!! Now living in a country rich in Culture drives us to celebrate ‘CULTURE DAY’ We talk about culture and we do have beliefs and notions about different cultures, but having our students dressed in one made us realise the diversity each Culture holds, from wearing cotton white saree that idolise goddess saraswati, to wearing complete black burkha that signifies that pronounced colour of Holy Makka Sharif!! Green, pinks and blues to amalgamate the joy and loudness of Maharashtrian and Gujarati culture to wearing turbans high to mark the pride of sikh culture! It was so pleasing to see when they were pinned about CULTURE, they wore, they spoke only about the INDIAN CULTURE!! The style, the clothing might have gained the attention, but the tradition and culture in it gained RESPECT! See you in the next post. Take care.
